nope you can't work at 15 in the UK, but you can do a paper round. Maybe at a restaurant, or pub. Or somebody who is self employed, generally not a big company.
No employer will employ you because it's not legal, though you can do lots of voluntary work.

The get interest postings there and a few quite good summer season jobs are in specific circumstances obtainable. the perfect Saturday jobs for 15 twelve months olds are as follows: Butcher shops - Saturday shipping or decrease back save artwork. close by industry - Saturday is a considerable enterprise day and helpers are commonly needed. talk over with the stall proprietors early as they open their up for the day. tell them you will settle for money. eating places - maximum eating places perfect now are very in need of individuals to help interior the kitchen. Dish washers especially (and that they regularly use dish washing machines to help do the interest so that's elementary adequate) good success and save attempting. Cheers!

i think u cant work until Ur 16 however, if u enquire at local restaurants/pubs then they may offer u waitressing jobs, or jobs in the kitchen washing up etc. i know its not the best of jobs but that's the only kinda job Ur gonna get, big stores such as tescos Woolworth's aren't going to employ u. The best way is to create a CV including ur education and saying how hardworking u are etc, and taking it round to local pubs. Alot of my friends got their jobs last year (when i was 15) through word of mouth working as a waitress for little pubs etc. Just ask ur mates where they work and if theres any jobs... good luck :) hope u get a job right for u

i am also 15 and looking for a saturday job but there are non in my local area. if you do find work, be careful they don't rip you off like they do my friend. She is 16 (should be on minimum wage!) and works from 8am-6pm on saturdays and only gets £25. even when she works overtime she gets paid the same! and even worse her sister who is 18 is in the same situation which must be breaking sum kinda law!
Employers will take advantage of young people who will work for the fraction of the wage of an adult on minimum.

Honestly do not expect more than minimum wage, but if you want to work in some cafe or restaurant, offer to do cleaniung on Saturdays, and talk to the owner, or top supervisor.

I am sad to say that I think minimum wage does not come into effect until you are 16 But check this site out you may find more than I did:
http://www.dti.gov.uk/employment/pay/national-minimum-wage/index.html
The National Minimum Wage has increased again from October 2006
The minimum wage is a legal right which covers almost all workers above compulsory school leaving age. There are different minimum wage rates for different groups of workers as follows:
The main rate for workers aged 22 and over increased on 1 October 2006 to £5.35 an hour from £5.05 an hour.
The development rate for 18-21 year olds increased to £4.45 an hour from £4.25 an hour
The development rate for 16-17 year old increased to £3.30 an hour from £3.00 an hour
On 1 October 2006 the rate of the accommodation offset increased to £29.05 per week (£4.15 per day) from £27.30 per week (£3.90 per day)
It is important to note that these new rates only apply to pay reference periods beginning on or after the date they came into law.
From 1 October 2007 the National Minimum Wage will increase again as follows. Adult rate (workers aged 22 and over) will increase to £5.52.
Development rate for 18-21 year olds will increase to £4.60.
Development rate for 16-17 year olds will increase to £3.40
The rate for the accomodation offset will increase to £30.10 per week (£4.30 per day).
From 1 October 2006, the Employment Equality (Age) regulations abolished the Older Workers Development Rate and remove the age limit on the apprenticeship exemption.
16 and 17
