Hi. I'm a coin dealer in the Midwest. What you have there is simply a 16 oz. bullion piece. The "Washington Mint" is a private company and not a government minting facility, thus the piece is not a coin and is merely worth its silver value. Assuming that it is solid .999 silver and not silver plated, it will carry a value of roughly $210 based on the current silver market. You can sell it several different ways...you mentioned Ebay, but evidently don't want to go that route. I suggest contacting the coin dealer/shop in your area (check the local phone book) and take it to him/her for an in-hand evaluation. Most coin dealers will buy this item. Avoid pawn shops...you'll get far less for the item than its worth. Hope this info helped.

Are you saying you have a coin dated 1994 that looks like a Washington quarter? If so and it is that large, then it is not silver, but silver colored metal. They are a novelty item and have been around for years. I have one that looks like a 20 gold piece. They are available in souvenir shops all over the country. They sell for $5-$10. depends on what the coin is. If you have something different than this then re-ask question with more info.
