My 1.9 renault Traffic 02 van missfires on one or two cylinders when cold and bogs down untill you rev it hard with the clutch in . It then clears after a few seconds and then goes well. This problem can reoccur when cold a few times untill warm.It only started this problem recently. It then pulls well. It smokes a fair bit and doesnt burn any oil. Whats wrong - oil system needs bleeding , air leak ?????

Start with replacing the fuel and air filters.

Try renewing the heater plugs, they have a limited life, it should start with first turn of the key. If this doesn't cure the problem, check valve clearances,compression test, and cylinder leakage test, to determine fault.
