Yes, I think about what they've done, but no, [favor for favor, eye for eye, tooth for tooth,] I don't pay for pay. Now I pass the favor unto to someone else. When someone helps me, they may be a total stranger and never see again so I pass the blessing onto someone else. I hope they did the favor to me from their heart and if I don't pay them payback where they can see, they still feel good they helped me out payback, to them, or not. Other times I "repay" them via their kids. So, they may not quite see the direct payback.

When I help someone and they want to repay me, I suggest they bless someone else and spread it around..

always pay it forward... not back!!
I feel that if you can help someone, anyone you should! With nothing in return expected. If you have been helped in life and most people have should pay it forward, help others that are in need of help.
You dont have to know this person, you dont have to ask them to pay it forward ,you do, I do.
What is a dollar to you? that dollar to someone else is a meal, or a ride.

Dont expect anything in return, just be happy that you can help someone. There is something to be said for that person that gives someone even a bum some money, a ride, a sandwitch, something to drink.
Rember one day that you might need help and knowing that it will be there for you.
Pay it forward, not back!

I often think of those who have helped me int he past. I try to "pay them back" but realize that if you keep track of the "favors" that others do for you, you then get wrapped up in a whole other mess, of who is up on who.... We should all willingly help others regardless of how many times they have helped us. Think of it this way. If someone helps you out, they are doing it out of kindness, and compassion, unless a monatary figure or an exchange of services, has been agreed upon beforehand. If it is out of kindness, then they probably won't expect you to pay them back. Rather, the next time they, or someone else entirely, needs help, that you help them. Someone coined the phrase "pay it forward" to describe this. The bottom line is, just help your fellow man without thinking of payback. The world would be a better place.....

Be kind to yourself, and others.
The world would be miserable,
in the absence of kindness.

Stevo.

I actually keep a list of names in case I ever win the lottery just so I don't leave anyone out. But yeah I try to return the favor whenever it is possible

The most effective way to pay back those who have helped you is to pass it on and help others. Every time I help someone, I'm always reminded of those who have helped me out in the past.

I guess it looks that way though I can't say which came first the chicken or the egg. I just try and be good to others and normally they are good to me too.
