I don't get scared. No matter how many horror movies or 'scary' games I watch or play, nothing manages to scare me. Most of the time I barely even jump when things randomly jump out at the screen. Is there a video game out there that will manage to scare me? I want to be able to be scared (I'm weird), but nothing's done more than make me laugh a bit. If you can't think of a game, is there a movie that's out there that's genuinely scary? I'm not talking about the amount of gore and violence though, blood and gore isn't scary. Anyway...Help would be appreciated, thank you!

Thanks to everyone so far who answered. I've looked into the Fatal Frame series, it looks fun, same with Silent Hill. Oh, and I've seen Stay Alive, it made me laugh a lot...If they made the game that was in it, that would be awesome.

I'll look into the other games people mentioned too, some of them sound fun.

I like the "Fatal Frame" series. There's three so far available on the PS2 and the first two in the series are also on the Xbox. The basic premise is that there is a camera called the Camera Obscura that can exorcise ghosts. The settings are creepy places like an old Japanese mansion, and an abandoned village that was decimated during a sacrificial rite.

The ghost designs are all disturbing and they whisper to you the entire time you play. The other thing is that you can only fight them with the camera, so a lot of the time is spent running away in abject terror as a woman with a broken back because she threw herself off a roof chases you, or something similar. Think "The Grudge" or "The Ring" and you may get a slight idea.

Well Project Zero Is freaky scary, and Silent Hill 4 is pretty sickening and scary. But really you might just be really hard to scare. you could try wathing STAY ALIVE the film on your own in the dark though lol. The worst games that try to be scary are games were you can actually hurt the monster. The best is were you have to just leg it. If all fails try Resident Evil 3 Nemesis thats quite scary ;)
Yeah I thought stay alive was funny too lol, but a bit weird to understand. Ill add more I f i think of any

The silent hill series. F.E.A.R was scary at times. Resident Evil 4. Maybe the clocktower series for ps2. The thing for Xbox was good too.

well to really scared yourself, i would play Doom 3,
but to make it extra scary do what i do. play the game on a high difficulty setting with the lights off, and late at night it is pretty scary.
