have just listed property (1 month) but decide to keep house.

Sure. You just call them and let them know that you are taking it off of the market. If you have signed something with them, they may want you to pay for any advertising fees or such, but you are ultimately not responsible for them. The realtor is responsible for any advertising fees they incur while trying to make the sale. If you choose not to sell, just let them know.

Sorry...had to comment. You are getting bad advise. Yes, you can take it off the market. What you probably cannot do is re-list with another agent. Most agents have in the contract a clause that says if you take it off and re-list with another agent, they still get full commission if it sells within a certain time frame. Nothing wrong with changing your mind!! :)

onece you sign a contract with those guys you are stuck for 3 months. the best thing to do is ask another realitor what is all your option to change realtors. NOw I want you to know you can take that sign out your yard any time you want, and never alow no one to view your house.
