I was at church yesterday and the kid in front of me had a really cool book. It had the hard cardboard pages and a couple of pages had a fish blowing bubbles and a bear with buttons on it's shirt. The buttons and the bubbles were indented so the reader could place Cheerios or any other similiar shaped cereal there. Does anyone know what the book is called and where I can find it. I checked the Cheerios website, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!!

Try searching "Cheerios" at Amazon books - you should get a list which includes "The Cheerios Play Book" as well as other titles in the series. The author is Lee Wade and the particular book you saw was probably "The Cheerios Animal Play Book."
Books for toddlers made out of that hard cardboard are called board books, and are made for kids young enough that part of the book's appeal is that it can be chewed on!

There are a bunch of those Cheerios books. I personally don't like them because I don't like to encourage kids to put food in books. Dry as they are, Cheerios are greasy and leave grease and crumbs in the book. I hate the M&M books too. My kids didn't want to read them, they just wanted M&Ms.

They are called cheerios play books and their purpose is to teach kids how to count and stuff. Personally, i don't think little kids should count with food. i mean, little kids always have the dirtiest hands and their playing with the food then eating them? It's just not healthy.
