Science is always in a continuous evolution. Published work is not always upto speed with the on-going research world-wide. Scientists and researchers do not like to publish their work untill they are sure of their theories.

So there is no stagnation in science - it's just a matter of in which direction new activity is headed and the possibilities are limitless.

go to a library or open the net... your belief will change... keep in your mind that most of the branches of engineering and technology are branches of applied physics...
