TV remote control and the fabulous mute button.
I usually surf news programs local and world. I deal just being amused by what the media feeds us as news, their perception of a top story and the important things going on (like big corporations moving headquarters overseas) being reduced to messages to read while they blabber nonsense.

i guess I just make a habit of it (being sane)
not gonna give up my sanity for anybody or anything
setting limits, also lines which I WILL NOT CROSS
also, relaxing, making smart permanent decisions sometimes, ones that will get me good things for long time
self reliance, liking my own self and who I am, having clear Karma
computers, reading, good food, beer sometimes (maybe I gave it up for awhile, maybe not)
things like that
don't expect too much (or anything even) , that way you don't get disappointed, and when and if something good ever happens, just enjoy it

Since I am crazy as a loon polls and surveys keep me in check with some sort of reality.

Ha. It's getting harder and harder to find things that keep me sane anymore. I usually try to find hobbies that take my mind off of my problems. I do anything from going to Disneyland, to scrapbookking, cross-stitching, and stained glass. TV doesn't even help me escape reality anymore.

Knowing life passes you by very quickly, so dont spend too much time in a sad place. Try to enjoy whatever you are doing. And try to spread happiness to others whenever you can.

If you only want one then i would have to say it is a tie between my chihuahua Roxy and God!!!!!!!......oh yeah... and listening to green day!!!
