I'm really irritated at the extreme number of cowardly Gutless Wonders there are on the Answers Forum who can sit back and expound their brand of stupidity, but don't have the backbone to publish their e-mail addresses in their profiles to risk reading feedback to their asisnely moronic drivel!
I wonder why this is so prevalent?
Any truly intelligent thoughts on this? ! ! !

Malfunctioning keyboard: the word is "asininely", as in "asinine", or "asininity", a truly remarkable word! All morons feel free to look it up, if you know how to use a dictionary.

I also can see the frustration in having some uneducated know-it-all foist their opinions off on a question that one was expecting a legitimately intelligent answer to, I have seen it here on different forums all too often, and it would be infuriating not to be able to respond to such qoute- "drivel"-unquote.
I can see full well why the more intelligent contributors would not wish to have to deal with said ignoramuses and their unwanted and possibly unmerited e-mails, either, whether they made sense or not.
I suppose one must accept this for good or bad, if you want to continue with Yahoo!'s forums, like it or not.
Smile, it won't mean squat tomorrow, as my Daddy used to say!

I used to publish my email address in my profile. However, the replies I received couldn't really be called anything other than flames. The 'flames' were little more than asinine moronic drivel, and so poorly written that they didn't merit a reply. So I stopped. If you disagree with me, that's your problem. I don't see why I should have to be bothered with your opinion.

I don't think answering should get to be a personal attack forum. I like this forum because you can answer and then be done with it. Hopefully, the person asking the question will get an informative reply through all the answers.

Do you have a specific need to take an answer past the forum it's posted in to someone's inbox? If so, you might be taking this all al bit too seriously
This isn't life or death; it's discussion to pass time and some answers to help people out who need a little advice.

I have to say, I can understand why people do not have their emails available. I do and I get a lot of abusive, vile emails because someone disagrees with my opinion. These always come from, yes, you guessed it, people who have emails turned off.
So, not accepting emails is a defense against those who need their mouths washing out with soap and water.

they do it.... because they can.
any forum... internet or otherwise.. where a person can say {almost} anything and remain anonymous, is bound to attract rude, belligerent and ignorant answers and a few rude (etc, etc) comments posing as questions, too
