Hobbycraft is stupidly expensive. I usually order from PJ Minerals or Earring Things, but surely Manchester has a bead shop...?!

Try the Cheetham Hill area. There are loads of wholesale firms there but some will sell small quantities. Also try Manchester Minerals, Heaton Norris, near Decathlon and B&Q.
