The right to remain silent?
I don't really think it affects me every day. Knowing its there is good piece of mind, but I don't think about it all the time. It's there to protect your right to not self incriminate and it has a lot of other legal jargon in it.

There are so many important provisions in the 5th.

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

Due process is a big one, since it protects every right, at ever level from administrative to criminal. No compelled self-incrimination, since it prevents people from having confessions beat out of them. The Takings clause, since it protects private property.

Double jeopardy and grand jury requirements are important, but don't often come into play in most people's daily lives.

Yeah the Miranda Rights are a big, but i think the No Self Witness is the big one here. This was one of the key big changes modern government achieved actually when England first developed their Bill of Rights I believe.
