I want to be a doctor, so I wonder what should be my main motivation for being in this profession?

The answer to that question should come from inside you. What makes YOU want to be a doctor? What kind of Doctor do you want to be. Was there an event in your life, that pushed you towards this profession. Are you doing it to please others?
We can give you lots of reasons to be a doctor, but these answers would be our reasons not yours. What drives you, what are you passionate about?
Do some soul searching and you will learn YOUR motivation.

Sure, if you love mankind. If you start your own business you could make a lot of money, rich friends, and help people at the same time. Girls also like doctors!

Your desire should come from a fire within yourself.
What has driven you to become a doctor in the first place?
Whom do you wish to impress with your skills?
Are you doing this to impress others?
Is it only the money and respect driving you, or do you really have a desire to help others?
These thoughts are needed to be put into order of priority by you.
When they have been prioritized by you, you will have your motivation.

If high school, Jr. high, etc.) you need good grades especially if you have your you are still in school (meaning grade shool,sight on a big name school. But starting early and knowing exactly what you want now is a great start. Don't let any fool tell you your not good enough, or smart enough to do it either. Doing other sudies of your own, like going to the book store and reading up on different subjects.

your main motivation is the goal that you want achieve to the highest peak, with that kind of profession. maybe love of mankind, maybe for money, maybe prestige, maybe travel, maybe to marry someone in the same line.
