advantage and disadvantage of nuclear& joint family?

Nuclear family has just one advantage. It gives you complete privacy. It's disadvantages - You may be enjoy your share of space, but with lack of companionship. One just does require companionship of his/her partner, but also people like to have few other people around them. That's why, members of nuclear families long for friends.

Disadvantages of a joint family - Privacy lost, responsibilities multiplied, ego clashes. However if you ponder over these disadvantages, you will find that joint family culture is not responsible for them, but our own traits are. It's our selfishness asking for privacy (Unke saath rahenge to hum apne aapni azaadi kho denge). It's our weakness that we run away from responsibilities (apna karne ke liye time nahi hai toh unko kaun sambhalega). While the third disadvantage itself suggest that it's due to our own trait - EGO.

Advantages of a joint family - Whatever goes wrong, you will always find someone around you. Your own managerial skills enhanced (it takes a lot to manage in a joint family). You are able to be with the ones who are really concerned about you.

Rest depends on our own priorities. If my freedom, my ego, etc. are my priorities; no matter what, I'll always be able to find a problem with joint family.

Nuclear family: Advantage: Small is beautiful; Disadvantage: Joy is less with less persons.
Joint family: Advantage: Bigger is stronger; Disadvantage: More makes many a time messy.

disad:::::::::::--------if economic problems come d other family will help.


joint family:- advan::::::::::------can share problems. if in need of help it is gud.
disadvan:::::-------- quarreling between each other bcoz of children.
