Avon is like any other business. You have to be responsible and a o getter. Who ever said owning your own business is easy? You have to work hard and make sacrifices. Many people who do not make it selling Avon lack the discipline and are not consistent. They do it because they think Avon will sell themselves by distributing catalogs and they don't. These days it's even easier to earn money selling Avon I know because i make at least 400 to 600 extra cash every 15 days because I dedicate myself to my business. I'm a stay at home mom and that cash helps out allot. It's a business where money is earned, money will not just crawl into your hands. If you have any more questions fell free to ask.

It's hard work. It's not as easy as they make it out to be. You have to find your own clients and you're going to have to try and sell Avon to these clients. It's tough because there's competition everywhere. Avon isn't that great of a product compared to L'Oreal or Mac. And if you do sell something, you're only making a few bucks. I don't think it's worth it.

But if you know a lot of people, women, I should say, then maybe it's good for you. But know that maybe your friends, acquaintances, or co-workers might not always be willing to buy Avon.

If you do end up trying it, make sure you get yourself business cards that you can pass on to everyone you know. It can help a lot with leads.

Of course you earn money, YOU control & determine your paycheck, isn't that wonderful? Do not try to buy products you "think" people will buy, do not buy samples or anything for yourself for the first 2 months while you are building your business. The only people that aren't making money are spending their profits on their own products, therefore don't see the "in hand cash" or are spending too much money trying to grow their business too soon. You will reap the rewards you deserve from your efforts, that is for certain & if you choose to recruit you will make an additional income as well. Read on for all the details about this incredible, & for many, life changing opportunity!

The AVON Opportunity!

When you join as an AVON rep you are paid solely on commission according to the amount of product you sell every 2 weeks. When you start, you are guaranteed 50% commission on your sales (all core products, 20% on AVON giftables, apparrel, & some jewelry) for the first 2 months as long as you place your order online.

After this time you earn 20% minimum with a $25 order, & up to 50% with a $1550 order, or anywhere in between 30%, 40%, 45%. You are given an intial credit limit, so when you place your first order, you do not have to pay up front, rather it is shipped to you on that credit.

You then deliver the orders, collect the money if you haven't done so already, & at this point you have your money (earnings) in hand & the money you owe AVON for the products you have received. You pay AVON the amount they invoice you, (they break down the earnings percentage for you), the amount you have left is your earnings.

There are NO quotas, NO minimums ever. If you decide the AVON opportunity is not right for you at anytime, as long as your account balance is paid to a zero balance, your account automatically closes once you have not placed an order for 4-6 weeks.

There IS money to be made with AVON sales & AVON leadership, which is another opportunity AVON offers; you build a downline (recruiting, helping others start their own AVON businesses) of which AVON pays you a seperate income & this is where the REAL money is at!

You can also conduct business online as an e-rep & have your own AVON branded website to service clients & the orders come directly to you.

If you would like more information from someone in your local area or would like an appointment to start, you click on the OPPORTUNITY button at my website & submit your information securely & confidentially. It is only $10 to join which gets you all your starting materials/brochures for the first month. Currently AVON is also offering bonus cash & incentives & there really is NO better time then to become part of a company 120 years STRONG then now.

Yep, you definitely do! Many people purchase Avon products, so it's easy to get your name out there. It's only $10 to start your business, and there's no extra fees after that. All you have to do is purchase your brochures which are extremely cheap!!! I'm an Avon rep, and I really love it. If you'd like some more info, or if you have some questions, feel free to visit my Avon site and send me an e-mail. I don't mind helping you out!! www.youravon.com/meganwatkins

Personally, I have never tried Avon...I do know of several people who do sell it but they don't make anything. I have known 1 person who did make some money at it. I also know several people who sell Mary Kay and they make a lot more money with that route!! Check out http://www.marykay.com/mtravis2 and click on the start a business section and read some of the true stories there...

Good luck with whatever you try to pursue!!

With Mary Kay you earn an automatic 50% profit, no matter what...you can never make less than that....

What people need to realize about Avon is that your business will be what you make it. If you want pocket change, then you can earn pocket change. If you want a big pay check, then you can earn a big paycheck.

In my oppinion, it is absolutely worth doing Avon. You can earn the commissions off of your sales and can also earn bonus' in Leadership. If you make it to Presidents club, you will achieve fixed profits of 40% ALL next year.

If you have lots of clients who regularly buy from you then you can earn extra cash.

You don't actually get paid by Avon you get discounts for example, your customer pays you a fiver for a product but you will pay Avon four pounds. Simple.

I sold Avon. I lasted ONE campaign. I got over $300 in orders and only made $40. I had to sort and bag the orders and deliver all of them. One customer I had got her phone number disconnected, so I wasn't able to get a hold of her when her order came in. I ended up having to pay for it myself, which was ok since I liked the stuff she got. I could have sent it back but then I would have had to pay for the shipping back to Avon. Believe me, it's not worth the hassle for the LITTLE $$ that you actually make.

Yes but its hard work but you can earn a lot extra.

Do not buy lots of the stuff yourself you won't make any money.

If you don't live in an area where you are surrounded by lots houses don't bother.

On your first two catalogue book sales don't sell too much because Avon take a chunk of your commission for their admin fee which they don't tell you about until after you have sent in lots of sales orders. (They do this because people tend to make loads of money in the first couple of weeks and then by a month later get bored and quit.)

In the first few weeks sell a few items to friends but concentrate on learning about your area.

Find the houses that are interested in buying and write it down get their names be friendly, people will be impressed if you come back to get the Avon book and you have remembered their names.

Also have a book to write down where not go ie people who didn't return the Avon book or destroyed it. (you have to pay for the books yourself)

Get the people who buy to tell their friends about it and get them to take a book into work.

Keep exploring the houses in your area but a bit further out.

My friend does all of this but her main profit is from door to door she can not expect her friends and family to buy from her all the time.

If you are not prepared to put at least an hour in everyday there is not much point doing it because you won't make any money.

On the plus side Avon do sell quality products at mostly cheaper prices than in the shops. They always have special offers to help you sell things. Find the right people mainly women and they will buy because of the reasons above.

Good luck.
