You could contact the Social Work department, as many of these children will probably have been allocated a social worker from an early age because of family problems - you should find an interesting correlation between family background and truancy/negative behaviour, and your LEA will be able to offer you some advice, as they spend a lot of time investigating the matter themselves!!!!

Good Luck! xx

Children with aspergers who are constantly referred to as badly behaved .
My grandson has aspergers and is currently being excluded every other day now.( he has been excluded many times, lately, once last week and twice this week...and its only Wednesday)
The headtw*t reckons he is badly behaved and by being excluded will change his behaviour.
His behaviour wont change..its a condition he was born with.
Can't get that through dumbf*cks head though, even after 3 years of trying.
Not one of his teaching staff have the courage to stand up and point out that after all this time that maybe, just maybe, there is something wrong with the boy after all.
That guy makes me so mad..and he is 'supposed' to be educated.
