I'm not a big fan of lip rings. I prefer tattoos or stomach or multiple ear piercings. Lip rings draw WAY too much attention and usually don't look very appealing.

I was on my way to Boston a few years back to have my lip pierced but I got robbed on the train there. I did not end up getting it done. I regretted it throughout college but now that I am out and working full time, I am glad I did not get it done. I have tattoos, those I can cover up. A lip ring even with a plastic retainer in it is noticeable and my friend has a pretty noticeable scar from his piercing. Just think if it will hinder you in the future with a job and so on. I absolutly Love mine, I have my lip pierced on both sides with 2 diamond studs in it, Its very cute. When I wear rings its more noticeable, but I still love it! I have had my lip pierced since I was 15 and I couldn't imagine not having them.
However, When I see people without the proper jewlery or who don't care for them right, its disgusting. You should be proud and care for your piercing and body right... Not be a sloppy mess.

Lip rings are hot!I have lip rings also I've had my tongue pierced,I have a belly piercing, and of course a nose ring! I love piercings in general!

lip rings can be nice, i have my top and bottom lip pierced, aligned in the middle but i dont wear a ring--it messes with my lipstick! what does bug me is when either the jewellery is too big or the wearer constantly plays with it with their tongue! thats not the ring itself but the person with its fault

i have already 11 piercings 10 on ears and 1 belly ring
i wanna get a lip ring so bad but i might get it
but only if i dont get the tongue ring
i still dont know which to pick

Depending on the person I think they look good...I know quite a few ppl that have them and they look good. My bf has one and it looks hott!

i think they look funky! looks good on some people, but if u want one jus be sure itl suit you, if it dont simply jus take it out
