Using your logic, the United States NEVER had good relations with the world.
These same problems occur everytime a President visits another country during wartime.
The same thing happened to FDR, Eisenhower, LBJ, and Nixon.

Yes! I asked almost the same question a few days ago. Namely why do world leaders have to go on anti-Bush campaigns in their own countries while people are riotting, why can't they just say no thank you and fly him back? We should start having a state vote to see if the president is allowed to visit the states too. After all, he's not a king, emporer, or annointed one. He's just a money grubbin oil feller like his daddy and his grandpappy.

When it comes to Iraq, maybe not. Look and see who these countries turn to during a natural disaster. I know the two are not related, but sometimes you should respect your friends even when you don't completely agree with them.

... a follow-up question. Why is the Iranian president welcome in so many places when his stated national goal and his actions to support that goal, is the destruction of Israel, America and subjagation of the rest of the non-Muslim world?

Yes, terrorist are always going to be out to get us. The fact that the Taliban tried to kill Cheney is a sign our policies are on the right track.

Yes I remember the throngs of supporters (burning Bill Clinton in effigy) during all the E7 meetings.
