The attack on Iraq and the diplomatic offensive against Iran, coupled with support for apartheid in Palestine have spread the mistaken notion that the US has launched a crusade against Islam. If you thought Iran was on a successful anti-US crusade wouldn't you want everyone to know? wouldn't you want to do something about it? well, poverty stricken muslims have good reason to fear the US is attempting to infringe on their cultural sovereignty. After all, everywhere the US goes it brings Mc Donalds and mini skirts, and the case has been made by President Wilson that it is desirable to forcefully open markets to US products. So it isn't a surprise that muslims everywhere would rather die than live in a westernized society. I am western and i don't much understand what the fuzz is about. But then again remember how hard it was to get the few good things we have, we had to fight to work 8 hours a day, and now we work 10. Women had to fight to vote and now they earn 40% as much as men. Blacks had to kill and be killed to be able to whistle to a white girl and now they kill and are killed for... well that one hasn't been resolved. Do i make my point? why are you all so offended that people from other cultures don't want to have anything to do with us? since when are we so great?
