No one in this worlds seems to know about it!
THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER AND HAVE AN ALBUM OUT THIS JULY!!! THEY ARE TOURING EUROPE IN THE SUMMER!!!!

They are definitely right up there at the top.
They are truly different and original and every album has developed their style further.
My favourite album is Meloncholy 'cos it's so diverse and there's not a bad song on it, even though it's an epic 2 disc!
But my favourite song is Mayonnaise.
Did you ever see them live before they split? if not you really missed out :>)

I don't know. I'm not a big fan at all of Nirvana but they really came out with a new grunge sound that wasn't really heard before. But Smashing Pumpkins were something else in the respect that they were original. In every aspect. You know what, yeah, I do think they are. It's a great argument, but because of Corgan's voice and the unique guitar sounds, they are. Like the song "tonight" was really out there when it first became popular, but almost normal for the Pumpkins because they were so different.

All the bands of the nineties are far better than the bands now: Smashing pumpkins, Nirvana, Foo fighters, Green Day (then not now)
Or maybe we are just getting older. I mean look at the state of Billy Corgan now

We're all really happy that you discovered a band whose best stuff was released over a decade ago. They had some good song but people have moved on.
