I do think that grades accurately reflect the work, not the intelligence. But when talking about standardized tests and things, I do not think that it accurately reflects anything.

Generally speaking, yes. However there is the rare occasion where a student works and works and still gets a low grade simply because the material is hard. But in any classroom where a grade is equally divided into homework, classwork, tests, and projects, the student who tries hard should never fail. They may not get an A, but they won't fail.

Yes and no. Sometimes if its a borderline call, I think a teacher will discriminate and let other issues influence the decision ie does the teacher like the student, etc.
