But what do you think????

People call me a prep all the time and i dont know why because it bothers me and just because of what i wear and how i act, i dont think i should be labeled..i hate it!

Just wondering what you think

The labels you get in middle school and high school are just (for a lack of a better weird) stupid. Really it is, the labels everyone gets in the real world make more sense. It is human nature to want to label everyone and put everything and everyone in a box, but I just think this logic in high schools doesn't play out the way it should. And besides when you get out into the real world, the labels are cooler and better thought out. LOL

I'm happy to report that this type of thing IS pretty much just high school. Once you're out of there, life truly starts.

Sure, people outside of high school will also label you, but it's not anywhere near as prevalent.

For one thing, you're not being forced together with the same people day after day. Ok, that might be true of work, but adults are usually a little more adult!

I'm a hippie misfit...
When labeled I just say "Groovy man, like, you think I'm a hippie? Far out, can you dig that?"
It doesn't bother me...
Don't let it bother you.
