Yes. When I come home in the morning from work, I throw something in, and when I wake up in the afternoon, viola, instant dinner! Been doing it for years! I have worn out at least three crock pots, that I can remember.

sometimes -if I want a no-fuss dinner, I put a whole chicken in the crock pot, let it cook all day. When I get home from work I toss in some carrots, onion, celery and rice. Let it cook for about another 20-25 minutes and dinner is ready.

No, I cook the old fashioned way, by stove, but am getting a crock pot soon. =)

Every single Sunday. Dinner cooks while we're at church. The whole house smelled like chili yesterday. Yum. I have leftovers. Want some?

I am old and slow so it works out great for me to use a pot that doesn't go any faster than I do.

I cook with a similar item, I have a wood fired cookstove, if you slide stuff to the back it is about the same idea.

I cook with the crockpot all the time. It makes it so much easier to have supper ready when I get home.

I sure do. It allows me to do other things, without worrying about cooking dinner when I'm done.
