I would recommend that you respond with something like:

"We all have conflicts during the day to day performance of our jobs, don't you agree? It isn't the conflict, but how it is resolved that matters. I don't carry a grudge. I try to leave the problem behind - it's over and done with, hopefully resolved, - and move on. Usually, you have to work with the person and it dosen't make sense to have an on-going negative relationship."

The KEY to interviewing is to determine what the question's main purpose is.

With this question, the interviewer is MOST interested in knowing whether or not you get along with people, and if not, how you resolve your differences.

In the working world, not everyone gets along with their bosses and/or co-workers, but the KEY thing is how well we try to resolve and deal with this problem.

And that's what the interviewer here is really after. It's a test of your interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Do not create a conflict just to say how you handeled it. Conflict can mean many things, from secheduling to personnal issues, to someone's performance. You could also use an example from your personal life or from school, depending on the example.

Don't make something up! What's the use?! I think it's good that you get along with everyone. Remember, first impressions are very important. Just be yourself! Good luck!

Never lie during an interview. What if you prospective employer follows up and finds out you lied to them? How impressed would you be?
