For about a year now, I have been having vertical cuts between my inner thigh and labia majora. These cuts are usually just about an inch or less, and are down near my vagina. The flesh there "tears" most time when I have sex since about a year now, even when I am very very wet. So there is no chance they could be a result of dryness during intercourse. Usually they heal in one or two days. Sometimes, but rarely and for more than a year now, if my partner pushes my butt cheeks apart, I could get a tear between the butt cheeks, just below my back. Also, most times, for about a year now, my left labia majora swells during/after sex. Sometimes it hurts so much I can only feel the pain and no gain in the sex. I wonder, does anybody know, what could be the cause of these two ailments. I am dying to know, because they have taken the steam out of my sexual life for about a year now. Thanks!

You really need a professional opinion and examination on this. We can only make guesses! It sounds like its causing you a large degree of stress so it needs sorting.

You should see your gyno. Sounds like you might have a syst. It can grow on the gland thats in the vaginal area and will swell from pressure. Have you ever noticed if this gland swells when your sick? Also this gland controls your feminine moisture and if its not working properly could cause you to be dry during sex which would explain the tears. This is just a possibility and its not a serious problem but for the sake of your sex life and comfort you should def see your gyno about it.

I had problems similar to this when I was struggling with a yeast infection. If an over the counter remedy doesn't work the doctor can prescribe a one time oral pill that should help.
This site has the symptoms of yeast infection just in case you want to see if it applies to you:

Otherwise I would suggest talking to your doctor or your gyno/OBGYN about this as it is obviously causing you discomfort and impeding on your sex life.
Just an idea.......Best of luck!

It must be so painful for you. It seems to me its time for you to have an examination from a GYN and see what the problem is. You say it heals in a couple of days but maybe you might have to abstain from having sex for longer than just a couple of days. Only a doctors exam is going to pinpoint the problem youre having. Good luck. bettyk

It could be a bacterial problem. This does not have a discharge like yeast infections. Talk to your doctor, if this is the problem, both you and your partner will have to have medicine.

Please get to the doctor - sounds like an infection. I've had a similar problem and my gyno cleared it right up. Seriously !
