when i put my 1gb stick in it works but when i take it out and put my 4gb stick in it dosent read it????HELPP PLEASE!!

Is it a memory Stick DUO, first is of course making sure you have the right type in that sense. My second guess would be if it is formated, don't ask me how to but I'd almost guarntee that you can. Never had to because I still use the one that cames with my PSP.

If you got off of ebay, it might be fake. But if you got it from a store just return it, since you probably paid like $130 for it and check out http://qj.net who is selling them for $55. And you should not have to format it.

you need to format it. Should be in the system settings in the psp.
