I'm gay and I've got this college best buddy+roommate. I didn't tell him that I'm gay but I think I've given enough hints to indicate that (I think he still doesn't know because I'm kinda macho on the outside). I'm not sure whether he's gay or not. He used to have girlfriends (but not now) and so did I. I notice he likes to check out hunks (those in the mags and of course me) but he likes to check out girls too (though he seems to like hunks more). When we're together alone, he always likes to cuddle me, touch my body and carass me. But if I carass him back too intimately, he would stop me and say he's straight. I always jokingly say that he's not straight and he always sarcastically "admits to it". Because we hang out together almost everytime, and when people ask whether we're good friends, he would reply that "we're gay buddies".
I do not at all desire him as my boyfriend. Even if he's gay, I won't stead with him. But just curious is there a faint possibility that he's a gay?

Why don't you come out to him and then ask him if he is gay or bi, he might feel more confortable about telling you if he already knew that you are. Also tell him that you are not interested in him that way, this will make him feel less uncomfortable and maybe dispell that myth in straight men's heads that all gay guys want to sleep with them. If he is as good a friend as you say and you two are that close, then your relationship should not be affected any.

What you are describing is the view from inside the closet. You two are playing way too many games around the "gay" issue. If either one of you were straight, there simply wouldn't be a "gay" issue - straight guys don't think about it all that much, you know. You both sound like you are focused pretty well on it - the "gay" thing - why? You're gay, you say. It sounds like your friend either is as well, or is extremely curious about it.

There are over 6 billion human beings on our planet. to assume that there is purely one which you have an invaluable courting with is slightly naive. once you're fortunate, you nonetheless discover the guy beautiful after the honeymoon era, and something is artwork to maintain that going. Some gay guys just like to be the dominant one all the time, like to be the one making all the moves, and don't like to be the one being hit on. From what you say, he's at least bisexual, although he may not know there are degrees in between being gay or straight.

Sounds to me like he's gay since it is not a social norm for guys to cuddle and caress each other. It sounds like he is confused and/or playing games with you. Or maybe he is seeing you just as a gay buddy and doesn't want you as a boyfriend and your more intimate caresses cross his line from just being a gay buddy into being a boyfriend.

you should know better than anybody if he is gay or not, he is your best buddy after all. I think he is maybe curious but afraid. But if you don't want him as a boyfriend then don't stress about it, his sexuality is his own business.
