I bite, but I see soooo many people ripping off pieces to put into their mouths. Is that the more user-friendly method or something?

It depends on the sandwich and how messy it'll be if you bite it or rip it. For instance, I'll rip a grilled cheese, but I'll bite a whopper or something along those lines. If sandwiches have tomatoes in them, it's usually easier to bite than rip.

I eat my sandwiches in bites. Tearing off little pieces of a sandwich to eat it makes you look like a mental patient.

bite- but rip off pieces of other food. My daughter teases me on my ritual of putting the torn off end of the sweetener package into the empty package to throw it away- not just picking up the 2 pieces and tossing them. I myself love to notice the expressions (esp. my kids etc.) others do in the mirror-we are such monkeys!

I rip off pieces! LOL! Everyone makes fun of me! I think I started doing it in school to make sure that I didn't ever have anything stuck in my front teeth!
