I was bored and flicking through TV the other night and stuck on FOX news. The right wing propaganda and lies from this channel was unreal and would have done Goebells proud. How many people are brainwashed by this crap?

Some important things for you to know:
The U.S. is not a strict democracy. It is a democratic Republic. The citizens don't directly vote on laws. They elect representatives to do that for them. Don't equivocate democracy with the Democrats. Both Democrats and Republicans believe in the concept of democracy.
Also, as much as I dislike Fox News (and I really, really dislike the network), it's unfair to focus solely on them and disregard the fact that the other cable news networks are guilty of the same sins.
All the cable news networks engage in sensationalism and partisan punditry. They're all biased. None of these cable networks operate under any kind of semblance of objectivity. CNN and ABC News are startlingly liberal. Fox News is startlingly conservative. It's not right to just point the finger at the network that doesn't support your views. They're all being partisan.
I prefer news with NO agenda. Don't you?

Do you call it propaganda because you do not agree with it? Are you the final arbiter of truth? What news station do you think is unbiased? And I take it you don't believe what they report as it does not fit in with your world view? Can you prove what they report is lies? How do you know this? Maybe because you swallow without any kind of discernment the left wing media's output.

Fox just shows the least "America sucks" news. The others seldom show anything but.....if that makes them right wing, so be it. I'd rather watch that than all the America/Bush hating 24/7.
