You will need a wireless router. Also, if you don't have a built in wireless card, you will need a wireless PCMCIA card, or wireless USB dongle. You can go to Control Panel >> Network Connections. When you open Network Connections you will see all of your network adapters listed. if there isn't a Wireless Network Adapter listed, you don't have a wireless card installed.

What kind of laptop is it? When you bought it did it com with a specs sheet (stuff included like RAM and Hard Drive space)? If it doesn't already come with a wire-less card already installed then you will have to go down to Wal*Mart (or Besbuy) and by a Wire-Less PC card for you laptop. Should cost about $30 - $50....I'm guessing.

if your laptop does not have a wireless card installed then you have to buy one and get it installed.

i think you have to get like a wireless chip or something like that installed into your computer
