Someone mentioned using a hairdryer or boiling hot water then just removing the badge. Won't this cause damage to the paintwork underneath?

Thanks

A hair dryer will heat the glue up on the back of the badge so you will be able to take it off, and if all the glue doesn't come off use WD-40 to take that off, neither one will hurt your paint. The only thing you might run into is if your car is older and you take the badge off the paint underneath the badge will look new compared to your older paint.

You can use a heat gun or hairdryer. Don't hold it directly on for to long or the clear coat might bubble.
