It seems to me that they forget to have fun and just look for an extra way to make another dollar. Friendship is often about helping your friends for no reward except pleasure. Many of these richer people forget this and will only assist with the idea in mind of WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME.

Totally agree with you, a true friend will never let you down, a rich money grabber will hide thinking the help your asking for requires money.

I think the reason that a lot of rich people became rich is that they are very cautious with their money. Some people take this as being stingy and tight, but in reality it is just sensible. I don't owe anyone anything, and I will do the best to ensure that I have the future that I want. Why should I have to help out friends who aren't as sensible with their money? I am well off as my partner and I have worked very hard, gone with out holidays and new cars and things so that we could save and buy property. I don't feel that I should be extra generous with my 'poor' friends, when in reality they are poor because they smoke, take holidays and generally aren't all that smart with their money. Money is out there for anyone to make if they want it. That isn't to say I don't do things for my friends, I'm not 'all about me', but I know when people are only friends with me for my money, and I do not like that. Don't begrudge people success just because you don't have it.

You get tired of getting used! You don't know who to trust anymore.Family and friends expect you to foot the bill, just because they know you have the money. It's not fair, they really take you for granted,it's not a good feeling at all.How would you feel if family that wasn't close to you from the very beginning began to call you every time they needed money?Think about it.

Rich people have always been like that. Havent you noticed that they also wear cheap clothing and as soon as they think something is overpriced they let you know it. They have millions of dollars but dont want to spend any of it. They also become very rude and arrogant.

I agree. In my experience, the most generous are those with the least to give, and the have-it-alls tend to be a bit stingy.
