My grade eight grad is in June and all of my friends are starting to shop around. I need stores and/or small boutiques in the GTA where they sell grad dresses. I don't want to shop in mass retailers like Laura Petite, Le Chateau, or Fairweather, because some of my friends already got their dresses there. I am light-skinned, brown hair, brown eyes and I am about 5 feet. I have curvier hips and thighs. I don't want anything too formal since it is only grad and not prom. Will a cocktail dress look good for the occasion. Please help me out...

go to yorkdale. i'm sure they have VERY nice ones. hah i need a grad dress for my gr.8 grad too xD. the yorkdale Fairweather has ALOT of different dresses. your friends might not have them. goodluck!

Yes a cocktail dress would look great. Some great finds are Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, David's Bridal, Kohl's
