My Wife and I are Flying into Seattle and renting a car to drive to San Francisco. We're giving ourselves 4 days to make the trip along the coast. We are wanting suggestions of places to visit along our trip. Thanks!

I live in San Francisco and my daughter goes to school in Seattle, but I've never made the trip by car. My only suggestion is Mendocino.

Wow that isn't much time, you could spend 4 days just in Seattle or San Francisco and their surrounding areas. Never the less...
I assume you will be driving down the 5 highway instead of the 101. Traveling the coast 101 would be much better but that would take much longer too. If taking the 5, stop at Shasta Lake for one of the most beautiful spots in California. Cut across highway 20 to 29 and head down the Napa Valley before heading into San Francisco. Don't forget to stop at the Muir Redwood grove before you cross the Golden Gate bridge.
If you travel down the 101, stop in Crescent City and Eureka for two of the best little cities in California. You will also drive though the Redwood Highway which is amazing to see. Stop at Mendocino (as in the song) and then cut across the 128 into Napa Valley.
Hopefully someone else tells you where to stop in Oregon and Washington.

i don't know if this helps but,the definition of a cautious man?he dropped his keys in San Francisco and kicked them back to Seattle before picking them up.

Any place in the Bay area. The warf is fun. And just walking in Down town SF is interesting in itself, if you are a people watcher. Bring a camera you won't want to miss the *interesting* people you see.
