Does fluid leak heavy when a clutch goes out

There should not be any fluid coming from the clutch area at all unless you have punched a hole in the converter or have a bad front seal on your transmission input shaft.

Without proper dignostics one can't really be sure plus we would need more information than what you have given such as make/model/yr. of car. Also type of transmission and clutch system would be very nice.

We need more information to answer this question. Some vehicles have hydraulic clutches, but most have dry clutches. If a hydraulic clutch goes out it can leak fluid.

No. There just isnt any traction for the car to move when you release the clutch. You may have cracked your tranny housing. Or are you talking clutch plate in an automatic? Then your yoke may be cracked or a bad seal.

Could be coming from the slave cylinder. Clutch may be good just not being disengaged if slave cylinder is leaking.
