I have a GSM phone but I am not sure if I can use it in the Susquahanna, PA area since that area uses the CDMA technology. Has anyone tried? My last phone, digital TDMA, did not work.

GSM and CDMA are different radio and network protocols.

That GSM phone may work if there's GSM coverage. Fire up that phone and see if it acquires a carrier. I'd be surprised if it didn't.

However, there's no way that GSM phone will work on a CDMA network.
