How can I insert a suppository in my baby? And what can I do to keep him from pushing it out?

The first thing to do is give him an object/toy to hold that will distract him. You should have someone with you to make it go faster. Insert in the rear, gently but quickly - the other person should push his buttocks together. If he starts to cry then you can talk to him for a minute while it has time to disolve. He may really be upset for a little bit but just be sure to move fast because its easiest for both of you.

insert in his "rear" .. then briefly hold his butt cheeks together until the suppository melts...their designed to melt quickly
