Misty Dawn screams 1980's.. all I see is poofy bangs and spandex...
Elliot is a boy's name.
Haven is not my cup of tea.

Elliot Haven does sound like a boy's name, especially since most people don't mention their middle name. So if you heard someone was named Elliot Jones, you'd more than likely assume the person was a guy.
However, if you like the name Elliot, you could always reverse the two names and go with Haven Elliot instead. Haven is pretty for a first name - not too bizarre and not to plain.
I love Dawn for a middle name. Misty is pretty too. It could be construed as a tad porn-sounding, but so can a lot of other popular names like "Heather" and "Tiffany". I'd suggest picking names you like and then when your child is older you can tell them why you felt their name was special and why you chose it.
:-)

Misty Dawn is a big no- no. Too stripperish. It's almost as bad as Candy Kitty or something like that. But Elliot Haven is great. Maybe spice it up a little and make it Elliot Heaven or Elliot Nevaeh.

Misty Dawn sounds like a stage name in a strip club. And Elliot Haven doesn't sound like a girl at all. Both names look super awkward. try getting something that rolls off the tung cause your gonna be screaming it a whole lot. j/k

Misty Dawn will be cute when she's a baby and a little girl, but when she tries to be taken seriously as a grown-up, in a carreer, etc., she'll wish she was named "mary"!!
i love the name Elliot... for a boy. is this really a girl's name these days? how about just Haven?

I don't like either name. When I hear Misty Dawn I think "stripper" and I think of Elliot as strictly a boy name. I do like the name Haven though.

I actually know like two Misty Dawns!! My second daughters middle name is Dawn so I am rather partial to it....at least for a middle name anyway.
I don't really like the name Elliot Haven for a girl though....I think Elliot I think boy.
