Get a little squirtgun and fill it with used engine oil. Squirt a few splotches of oil near the back of the driver side front tire. This is good fun especially if he/she has a new Audi - it'll drive him/her nuts taking back to the dealer yelling "Find the Dang Leak!" Gets them out of the office for a bit, too.
Later, try the same trick using coolant or ATF.

Nothing. That is not to say your boss may think you are plotting something. The anticipation of something bad happening is often much worse than actually doing it. Let word leak out that something bad, really bad is going to happen to the boss in question. Then sit back and watch the paranoia. Priceless.

Problem - you want to get back at your boss without getting in trouble.
Solution - Make him think you're going to do something truly awful for revenge. And don't do it. He will be waiting and watching and worrying - and you just go on about your business. It will drive him crazy - there will be nothing he can do - and you will be perfectly safe.
