First, keep in mind that in most states, you can be fired without a reason ("at will" employment).
Second, drug testing has been shown to be legal, as long as it's given to all employees (at least all employees without a certain job function) or given in a random fashion. Targeting an individual is what gets contested in court.
If you're not on drugs, you have little to fear. While there are occasional false positives (the old "poppy seed" problem), modern drug testing is better able to account for this. If you're on illegal drugs, then... well, you shouldn't be.

Duh! of course, silly. Marijuhanna takes 30 days to get out of yor system for urine tests. Coccaine & Meth takes 4 to 7 days. If it is a hair follicle test, your drug use can be traced back 7 yrs. I'm not certain of blood tests. Urine tests are less expensive & easier to pass. Just don't do drugs & you have nothing to worry about, silly. Maybe you should attend a narcotics Anonymous meeting.

More than likely- YES. The boss man may do random screenings... so if you're worried, I'd clean up a little.
