I have a sunburn on my face that just started peeling today... any tips on what to get it to stop peeling?

If it doesn't hurt too much try using a gentle exfoliator. I would use it in the shower when the steam opens your pores. After that put some aloe vera all over your face. It has natural healing properties. You can buy a bottle of aloe vera gel in the store or get a real aloe vera plant, cut off a part of the plant, and spread the real gel on your face.

Best thing I find is to keep the skin well moisturized. You won't be able to stop the peeling, but you'll be able to minimize the dry flaky mess by applying a good facial moisturizer, or if you have normal to dry skin, cocoa butter, especially enhanced with vitamin E and collagen, which are both good for helping the skin repair itself. Make sure you're also drinking lots of water.

After a shower, rub baby oil on the burned area. Pat dry with a soft towel. Next time, do this as soon as you notice that you are burned.
