car when I start it up. What might this be?

I now this should stupid but make sure that they put the right fluid in your oil reservoir. The other thing is to make sure you oil level is properly filled. Are there any leaks on the ground under your car. If you car starts and warms up, does the smoke go away. or is this an all day thing. If it goes away then it may be ok. Did they put any engine cleaner in the mix or your gas tank. This also can cause the smoke. you will know because they would have billed you for it. Take it to another shop and get their opinion first before you make any suggestions that they did something wrong. This will give you a more promising out come.

Don't go to "Jiffy Lube, Wal-mart, Pep Boys" or any other place that hires rejects from "Dunkin Donuts", use a qualified shop, with REAL mechanics, not parts hangers ! They probably over filled the crank case, or put in the wrong grade of oil (Too thin).

They use the cheapest grade of oil, and in 55 gal drums. They may have overfilled or done some other nonsense. Take it to a dealer, for evaluation. Then get a written diagnosis. Now take it to them or to a lawyer.

Take it back and complain. They let all the oil leak out of my husband's car once. I would not use them.

Did you check your oil. They may have forgot to put oil back in once they drained it. Check it fast before your engine freezes up.

OIL FILTER MAY BE LEAKING OR OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG,TAKE IT BACK.

Check the dipstick. I bet they overfilled it.

call them and complain. then take it back so they can fix it
