I've been having the same problems lately. Yes, I feel the pain. losing friends is always going to happen. you cant stop people from having doubts about you. so let them leave. theres no stopping them. to deal with the pain, just remember you did nothing wrong, its all their bad decisions. have faith and you'll get over it. good luck.

I had a best friend. We did everything together. I had known her since the fourth grade. She attended a different highschool than me. She was also in foster care, so she moved alot. We sort of lost touch in the 11th grade of high school. It was very hard, because she was my best friend; but through the years I have met so many new people. I am now a senior in college and about two weeks ago, I received an e-mail from her on facebook (facebook.com). I was almost close to tears, even though we had not spoke in a number of years, we started chatting like we had been speaking forever. We are planning to see each other over spring break. I can't wait!! I finally found my friend....

Indeed I have.

I was acquaintances with this girl for a while, but we became friends this summer. We started hanging out a lot (nearly every day) and talked every day on the phone for hours at a time. I really thought it was starting to develop into something more, and she never once acted contrary to that.

Then all of a sudden, she stopped talking to me and didn't give me any reason why. I finally got to talk to her, and us being as close as what we were was bothering her. So I gave her space, but tried to get back to how we were.

Apparently I tried too hard and pushed her farther away, and she claimed to have never liked me as more than a friend. Then she decided it was best for us to not be friends anymore.

So I quit talking to her, though I see her around every now and then. We are still not friends again yet - but all my friends are friends with her, so maybe we will become friendly again in time. But never as close as before (and I will make sure of that because what I went through sucked!)

Yes I have lost a friend I didnt want to lose - It was awful but life goes on and I have come to thinking that it is as much her loss as it is mine as I was a good friend to her.

Maybe she wasnt the friend I thought she was anyway

It has taken a while for closure but now I have it and have a new circle of friends who seem to have helped me get through it all.

We could never be friends again now

Yes i it happened with me,
it really hurts when i remember the memories we shared together. its really painful. we're still friends, but not like before, before it was different, we shared everything together, and we used to see each other once a week "At least", we called each other everyday. we knew everything about each other. but now every-things is different. and if we call each other, its like once in years maybe. i don't like it.
and every time those memories come to me i just delete them from my mind, or remember them as good and nice memories.
but if you're going to loose a friend, try not to, and try everything u can do to save this friendship, because "Good" friend are really rare.
