a force of 11.16 N pushes and pulls two blocks. the vertical contact surfaces between the two blocks are frictionless. the contact between the blocks and the horizontal surface has a coefficient of friction of .22 the acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2.

Let m1 and m2 be the masses of two blocks in question.
then the net force
Fn=F-f
F= 11.16 N ( pulling and pushing at the same time ...I wonder)
f=uN force of friction
u- coeff of friction
N normal force or in this case the weight of the blocks
f=u(m1g +m2g)
f=ug(m1+m2)

a=Fn/(m1+m2)
a=(F-f)/(m1+m2)
a=F/(m1+m2) - ug

The only information we need is how massive the two blocks are.

Have fun!
