a tall fescue, like titan.
Though you maybe be fighting a losing battle, depending on how often your dags are out, how much space they have, how big they are, etc. Dog traffic is about the worst-case scenario with dogs.
Actually, crabgrass would be much tougher than traditional lawn grass, and would hold up better to dogs.
But if you're trying for the "lawn" look - tall fescues are worth a try.

I would go to your nearest garden center to find the answer. They are a good resource of information for the area you live in. For my dog I plant winter rye grass or kentucky tuft builder. But it really depends on your soil. weather, many different conditions in the area which you live Good luck finding the right grass for you and your dogs.

depends on your climate but for the northeast Perennial Rye grass is the best type for heavy traffic and is typically 80% mix in sport fields and the other 20% is typically Kentucky bluegrass

I depends on where you live. Not all grasses can survive everywhere. I live in the Deep South and we mainly have St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Centipede grasses. These grasses all tolerate heat very well, but probably wouldn't do well where it gets really cold.
FYI - Crabgrass is a weed.
