Whats stopping you from changing your kitten's name... do it now while its young before it gets too used to 'Adelphi Atomic Kitten'.
Weird names? I have heard of dogs called Beetlejuice although I thought that was cute.
The weird ones are named after people such as Dave, Jeff or Gary. Haha. It just feels weird for me even more so if you have a living relative named after the dog!!! haha

That is cute, our golden retrievers pedigree name is something like Evening star blue steadfast, shes a rescue so we were never given her papers, part of the deal from the rescue centre we got her from, they were worried we might eventually sell her on or breed from her and make tons of money, understandable when she had had a ruff start, but we love her and whatever her pedigree is she will always be top dog to us.

I have a pedigree Staffy and his breed name is Merlots Tiger which suits him because merlot means red and he does act like a tiger when he creeps across the kitchen trying to stalk my tea towel which he then thrashes round the floor and rips holes in it. We just call him Oakley.

It's just because the owners want the dogs to sound posh.
My grandparents dog was officially called "Princess Pauline of the Grove".
The reason - My mother is called Pauline and they lived in an old, terraced, miners cottage in Grove Road.
They called it Shep.
