Just because we let them get away with it... they think that because they are younger than us that we will put up with what ever they dish out...
Just let him know he aint the only one around, and that you can soon find another one to replace his limited function.... that will make him sit up if he genuinely cares about you, put yourself in the drivin seat and make him do the chasin.. become a cougar..
(definition of cougar, well adjusted strong older lady that know what she wants and aint afraid to go out and get it)
and to Poppy.... maturity is not what you have a toy boy for... if you get my drift,

coz they're younger! also bear in mind that women mature at a much faster rate than men - so the fact that hes going to be naturally more immature than you - coupled by the fact that hes physically younger than you also probably contributes to his playing up!
