The possibility is, they are a bit shy to demonstrate their inner self! Maybe some additional manure and watering prior to the blooming season will induce them to spring!

if you dont let there foilage die all the way each year before you trim it back,i mean all the way dried up ,then the bulbs dont get enough food to bloom the next year! they get there nutrients from the leaves and stems and they slowly go down to the bulb to store for food during the winter months. you might try always watering them with miracle grow ,some times it helps!good luck and happy gardening!!!

Cindib has a very valid point. The amount of sun bulbs get triggers blooming.

Placement of your bulbs could be the answer. Your soil, plant food, sunlight, drainage and the need to separate them. I would get a book on your location, or go to your nearest garden center, they are a good resource for much needed information.Good luck with your bulbs.

They are probably planted too deep or are underfed. Depending on what kind of flower they are, sun/shade can make a difference too.

Maybe they just need more light. Consider relocating a few to see what happens.
