its starting to get reallllll cramped inside there and the baby is starting to run out of room to kick and twirl. Also...the baby is getting to the point in development that it will sleep much more than it used to. You will feel the baby move every now and then but, they sleep in regular intervals just like a newborn does starting around 30 weeks. If you are really concerned about it though, eat a light snack or drink some milk/orange juice and then lay down it sit on the couch. after a few minutes the baby will start to move. If it gets to the point that you can't feel the baby moving at least 5 times in an hour, then i would call your doctor. It never hurts to be safe but, you should feel the baby moving! Good luck with everything and congrats!

I use to worry as much as you do. But don't worry. You should feel 10 to 12 kicks in a day as per the doc. There are times when the fetus is moving but you can't feel the kicks. Trust me, this has happened with me. You should not worry so much. I use to get up in the morning and get ready for my office, reach to the office and start my work. For atleast next two hours of that, there use to be no kicks at all. And then it use to start off. So, don't be worried.
Incase you are not satisfied with the answers you get here, visit your doc. Being worried is not good for you two.
You could also try to lie down on your back, that way you will feel the kicks more. Have you noticed your baby move when you do a particular thing, try that.
Take care.

if your worried then contact your midwife.
I'm 30 weeks as well and do sit back sometimes and think 'have i felt him move this morning?' but then i get a big kick.
i think at our stage you get used to those kicks and unless you pay attention you may not notice them.
i also find my little one has hours of extreme quietness and then hours especially at night where he's kicking for England and wakes me up.
remember every baby's sleeping patterns are different I'm sure everything is fine and that by the time you read this she would of all ready made it clear that shes fine with a big kick.
hope this helps good luck

Grab a big glass of orange juice...or anything with a little sugar in it(or even something with a bit of caffeine) and go lay on your left side. If baby doesn't move at least 4 times in an hour make a call to your OB and see what they have to say.
Babies don't move around every hour....especially if you are up and moving around.

As a rule, you should feel your baby move at least 10 times in 2 hours. Try drinking some juice and laying on your side to see if that will help get your baby moving. If it doesn't, call your doctor.
Good luck!

Your doctor most likely told you to do kick counts right? Well, either way, you need to call your doctor just in case. The baby is probably cramped and can't move as well, but I know very well how worried you can get over things like this and your doctor can put your mind at ease.
Better safe than sorry!

drink a glass of orange juice and lay still(the orange juice make them active and they are more prone to move when you are still) if you havent felt the baby move in an hour call the doctor immediately, chances are that the little one is just sleepin, but you can never be too sure good luck

As the baby gets bigger, it becomes harder to move around as much. Also, she might have been moving around all night, but you were asleep. Now she could possibly be asleep. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and call the doctor, but try not to worry. My first son did the same thing, and turned out to be a great sleeper after he was born. Good luck!

Don't feel guilty about telling the doc.
They will get a doppler and listen for about 1/2 hour to the heartbeat.
It is just around this time that moms start "not hearing" or not feeling their baby. It is best to see the doc, or you will drive yourself crazy worrying.

drink a little caffene and lay on your left side. Start counting and see if you can count 10 movements. If not call your doctor just to be sure
