Mmmmm.... Let me see if I can answer this one the way I truly feel.
Number one, being a woman, would be freedom! So many women are neglected and abused in other countries.

Number two, there are so many different ethnics and backgrounds here. I love learning about people and the countries they come from.

Number three, our country is really beautiful! There are so many beautiful things here, places to visit.

Four, I love the fact that our country is hot in the south and cold in the north.
Five, voting! Many countries don't vote! We do have this choice!
My personal favorite love for our country is our Military! We are blessed with a brave and courageous group of men and women that fight everyday to keep our people free! They give the ultimate gift! I am proud to be American and I will support our troops, even when I don't agree with why they are at war because they are just being loyal to the people and following orders!
I love seeing the jets fly by at a Nascar race or a event like that. I love hearing our National Anthem.
I think your question is interesting because more Americans need to stop and think about why they love this country!

I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands and I know it may not be it's own country, but I love it with all my heart. For as long as I can think back on, I remember holding hands with my grandfather in the market, learning to chop coconuts down from the palm trees...I love my island {St. Thomas} because of all the memories it holds and also because of it's heart, it's lively pulse, and it's beauty.

It is also of place of new happenings and individualilty, family and faith. People in the Virgin islands stay true to their own way in life (others may say it's stubborness, but I sorely disagree)... What else can I say? Loads more, like Magan's Beach and the churchs' picnics and gatherings. Every part of the Virgin Islands is occupied with love and familiarity. Now what else can I say more than.....

I love my islands, because with the hot sun and warmth, there is no way anyone can feel cold there.
